I commenced my new role as Principal/Owner of Little Angels Montessori with enthusiasm and continue my journey as an educator. I graduated from TUT and completed postgraduate studies in ECD at the University of South Africa as well my Montessori studies.
I began my teaching career some years ago as an assistant at a pre-school and later as Administrative Manager at a large school. From there, my passion for children has grown immensely. For many years my ambition has been to own a pre-school, a place where every child will feel safe and loved. I am personally involved in the daily running of the school, which enables me to constantly keep abreast of the needs of not only the children, but also of the parents as well as my staff.
I have been working at Little Angels Montessori since 2005. Being a mother myself, I have a passion for young children resulting in working with children my entire adult life. I started au pairing for a family with 2 boys and spent many years with them. At Little Angels, I started by preparing meals. From there I progressed to the position of Assistant in the 18 – 36 month Caterpillar Class.
I love working with children and enjoying seeing how they grow and develop.
I started working at Little Angels Montessori since this pre-school opened in 2004. I was appointed as kitchen staff and as the years passed I proved myself and was promoted to an Assistant in the toddler class. I am currently an Assistant in the 3-6 year old Dragonfly Class whilst completing my studies in Early Childhood Development through West Coast College.
I love my occupation! It has also helped me grow into a great parent for my son
I have been working at Little Angels Montessori since 2009. I enjoy working with pre-schoolers, especially caring for toddlers. I love to see how they develop and reach their full potential before moving onto “big school”. I am very dedicated to the children entrusted in our school’s care.
Currently I am completing a 12 month au pair programme in Holland but I look forward to returning to Little Angels Montessori in June.
I have had the opportunity of working at Little Angels Montessori since 2010. I’m currently the Directress of the 18 – 36 month Caterpillar Class. I’m really passionate about working with little children and developing young minds and it is such a privilege for me to watch the children grow in size and knowledge.
I have acquired a Montessori Teaching Diploma for ages 3 – 6 years old from Mercy Montessori in Kenilworth, Cape Town and have almost 6 years teaching experience. I also have a Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Psychology.
My aim as a Directress is to provide a warm, nurturing and holistic environment to meet the needs of every child.
